Researchers: Patricia Kuhl, Andrew N. Meltzoff

An NSF Workshop entitled, “Future Challenges for the Science and Engineering of Learning” was held on July 23-25, 2007 at the National Science Foundation. Drs. Patricia Kuhl and Andrew Meltzoff were invited to participate and share information on new work being done using technology/robots to increase language learning in children and adults (Kuhl) and learning using “social robots” with children (Meltzoff).
