2009 iSLC Conference
On February 5-7, 2009, The LIFE Center hosted the Second Annual inter-Science of Learning Centers (iSLC) Conference, themed “Social Foundations of Learning: Implications from Research on Brain, Behavior, and Experience.” This conference brought together over 120 graduate student and postdoctoral scholar researchers from across the six NSF-funded Science of Learning Centers: CELEST, LIFE, PSLC, SILC, TDLC, and VL2. Participants shared their research designs and methods through poster sessions, symposia presentations, methods and tools workshops, and other informal interactions, with the ultimate goal of working towards future collaborations and shared expertise across the Centers.
